WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Country Sales Leader for our Poland entity, plans, directs, and monitors the activities of a sales team within a specified geography, product line, market segment or list of accounts to identify business opportunities and secure achievement of established sales targets according to defined sales processes and strategy

YOUR ROLE

  • Lead, direct and develop the respective sales organisation in terms of its structure, people and performance to achieve maximum efficiency & effectiveness (including personal feedback & development).
  • Coach team members on sales techniques, procedures and standards that will help them achieve their sales targets.
  • Translate local business plans into sales plans, activities, and campaigns and manage the day-to-day activities of a sales team (in order to implement the organization’s overall sales strategy) for an assigned geography, channel, and/or customers.
  • Negotiate sales with existing and new customers who are of strategic importance to the organization.
  • Contribute to the development of sales, marketing, customer retention, advertising, pricing, and distribution plans/strategies for area of responsibility.
  • Generate knowledge on market development/customer needs and competitor activities and distribute to internal stakeholders.
  • Manage sales strategies and activities and translate them into accurate monthly, quarterly and annual projections

Principal responsibilities

  • Direct oversight of the National Sales Manager, who will report to this role and support the execution of national strategies and initiatives to ensure alignment with overall business objectives.
  • Lead, manage and define account plans and sales targets.
  • Define strategic targeting plans.
  • Monitor national sales performance; guide and coach team accordingly to ensure delivery of regional and local account plans and sales targets.
  • Ensure sales tools are used effectively including CRM and business intelligence systems.
  • Ensure the sales structure is defined & effective to meet the business objectives.
  • Monitor progress against local objectives and targets.
  • Pricing proposals for all contract negotiation

YOUR BACKGROUND

Education

(Preferable) Life Sciences related degree (medical, scientific, pharmaceutical)

(Additional) Business Administration degree a strong plus

Experience

  • Minimum of five years national or regional sales manager experience within MedTech, preferably radiology (previous clinical background within radiology is a strong asset).
  • Minimum of five years team management experience
  • Thorough understanding of national/local health care systems
  • Proven negotiation experience in complex multi stakeholder environment
  • Demonstrated interpersonal & communication skills (ability to effectively communicate to external customers, global counterparts and team members)
