Permanent Contract to be filled as soon as possible.

 

We are looking for our new IT Project Manager-SAP who will be in charge of:

 

  • the implementation with the business of new processes in relation with the IT applications in her/his scope
  • the corrective maintenance and the evolutions from the business requirement till the move in production in all countries. 
  • the participation to projects as roll-out, upgrade
  • the level 2 support (expertise)

 

The scope is SAP ERP S4/HANA PP, PM, MM, integration with the other domains (Finance, Purchasing, Production, ...) and other applications like Winshuttle, AZAP, Cloud SAP, ...

This position has an international scope, covering all countries where SAP S/4 HANA is deployed.

The IT Project Manager-SAP will report to HQ Production & Supply Chain partnership IT manager based in France. The role needs to be able to work independent, take own iniatives but still be a strong team player.  She/he will work with multiple groups of business resources and IT teams.

 

 

Principal Responsibilities:

 

1. She/he is responsible for implementing evolutions and supporting SAP users in their daily activities across various regional entities to ensure business solutions are used properly.

 

2. Primary mission is to ensure the stability and developments of SAP Core Model in line with the business processes:

  • Coordinating the evolutions
  • Working in a team internal and external to fufill the mission
  • Support users in daily operations
  • Qualifying and Following-up defects raised by Key-Users until Closure
  • Analyzing and documenting new requirements with Business Key-Users
  • Managing Non Regression Tests
  • Leverage functional knowledge and training to assist end users in identification and resolution of basic issues.
  • Contribute to functional support documentation including improvement recommendations
  • Communicate issue, request, or problem status to all parties as appropriate
  • Facilitate and actively participate in functional activities as they relate to application configuration.
  • Follow established escalation procedures.
  • Coordinate and support planned application or system outages for maintenance primarily impacting assigned areas of work. Partner with business user groups and supporting technical teams
  • Assist with documentation of test scenarios for Technical Unit Testing/Functional Unit Testing/UAT test phases. Map scenarios to functional and technical requirements.
  • Create support documentation.
  • Managing user-ids and authorizations
  • Checking interfaces between systems
  • Assist with delivering training capabilities.

 

3. She/he will guarantee the group Core Model best practices in close collaboration with regional business counterparts. The position include working extensively with international teams: IT, business and project rollout teams.

 

 

Job Requirements:

 

  • A Bachelor or Master degree in Information Technologies or Business related degree with an emphasis on business information systems or an equivalent combination of job experience
  • At least experienced with 3 years in a competence center or in a IT consulting company with several project life cycle implementation: scope is Production & Supply Chain processes with integration of the other processes (Finance, Controlling, Sales & Distribution...)
  • Configuration experience on SAP S/4HANA is required
  • Experience supporting the following SAP Modules: PP, MM, PM, WM (Demand to Supply, Procurement to Pay)
    • Technical knowledge in Basis administration, development (Abap, SAP PO, SAP BTP) are a plus
  • Demonstrates end-users support capabilities
  • Solid understanding of Change Management concepts
  • Matrix organization experiences will be appreciated
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Comfortable with communicating with different levels of technology and business leadership
  • Able to work on own initiatives and with minimum supervision but still a strong team player
  • Self motivated
