Location : Villepinte / Hybrid


The Global market access specialist will work closely with the Global head of market access on all aspects of the global market access strategy development, across current and evolving contrast and pharmaceutical diagnostic portfolio.

As part of the preparation of the launch of a new product, the market access specialist will generate and synthesize payer insights and develop payer value propositions and pricing strategies to support the access across various market archetypes (US, Europe, AsiaPac) based on the clear understanding of the key stakeholders and their needs.


The global market access specialist works with regional and global colleagues to develop and implement market access strategies for Guerbet’s contrast agent launch


The global market access specialist will interact with the global teams (marketing, medical, others) and the regions/countries


Main responsibilities / Job expectations


  • Define and implement pricing policy for launch brand taking into account IRP, launch sequences and tiered pricing
  • Define and implement launch sequencing strategies to optimize pricing corridor and value
  • Support designing pricing policy operations through principles and tools methodologies and training to maximize net price management
  • Support countries in implementation of pricing policies ensure continuous competitive benchmark and internal best practice sharing
  • Work in close collaboration with head of market access and other colleagues to implement market access and pricing strategies and identify solutions to enable access and reimbursement
  • Conduct market access analysis and pricing/market scenarios to inform decision marking at global launch steering committee
  • Support head of market access in building and coordinating the activity
  • Ensure development of deep country level understanding of payer needs, decision making approaches, strategies and country reimbursement stakeholders and influence map
  • Ensure that global evidence plans meet local country needs, or supplement with tailored strategies for key markets
  • Lead and own the development of the health economic and outcomes analyses required for access, selecting and coordinating the activity of external vendors
  • Ensure evidence synthesis activities (systematic reviews, indirect comparisons, dossier development) are performed to optimally meet payers needs and support successful product positioning
  • Support the execution of broader market access goals, including pricing targets, revenue targets, access timelines, and overall launch success


Required qualification


  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in healthcare, medical devise, or pharmaceutical sector
  • Prior interaction with healthcare, medical devise, or pharmaceutical business customers
  • Knowledge of the market access and strategic pricing
  • Strong cross-functional project management, organizational and analytical skills
  • Master spoken and written English


Desired skills


  • Experience supporting product launches
  • General understanding of Strategic pricing and associated skills
  • General understanding of health economics is a plus
  • Ability to work successfully and cooperatively across multiple cultures
