The primary function of the role is to sell products in an agreed portfolio, to meet or exceed budget, to maintain existing customers and to develop new accounts. The portfolio is focused on Imaging Devices, Contrast Media and Interventional Imaging Products.

 

Main Responsibilities

  • Plan work to achieve or exceed sales targets at minimum cost.
  • Gather market intelligence (product, price, promotion, discount etc.) by in-person customer visits using observation, discussion or research. Sources of intelligence will include customers, competitors, suppliers and anyone else affected by its range of products. The expectation under normal circumstances is that 80% of time is spent interacting with customers in person.
  • Regular, daily input of information into Salesforce CRM to maintain a high level of accuracy of customer and market information. This is including but not limited to, customer visits, market intelligence, contacts, opportunities and conversion of leads.
  • Deal with customer queries in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Liaise with customer on complaints or initiate corrective action.
  • Travel is required to visit regional customers, expectations are a minimum of four regional trips per year (excluding major cities within your territory)
  • Train Guerbet customers in the use of products where it is appropriate and the representative has received internal product training.
  • Maintain good relationships with all staff at all levels of the organization.
  • Seek new business by planning meetings with key personnel.
  • Attend conferences and trade displays as required. If required, provide a conference report within 1 week of the event taking place including all leads collated.
  • Report activities and generate feedback when required.
  • Some theatre work will be required.
  • Pharmacovigilance (PV): When requested, act as either the Locally Responsible Pharmacovigilance Person (LRPP), or Deputy LRPP, for managing overall responsibility of the PV activities in Australia.

 

Educations & Experiences

  • Minimum 2 years healthcare sales experience.  Experience selling similar products is advantageous

  • Demonstrate a successful track record in developing a profitable sales territory, and delivering on/over-target sales
  • Full driving license essential
