The candidate is responsible for developing marketing strategies of all products and implementing all marketing activities to support all BU development managers to create demand of contrast media, II, injectors and disposables. The main goals & objectives of the Marketing Manager - is to enhance the Guerbet brands’ equities by implementing the DI & II BU global strategy at China level & by maximizing the local tactics, and therefore generate visibility, value, sales & profits to Guerbet DI & II BU.

 

Main Responsibilities

  • Develop marketing strategy and promotional programs to generate demand and sales of all Guerbet products BU (CM, II, ISS)
  • Devise effective go-to-market strategy align with global strategy and local contexts
  • Plan and implement key marketing programs and support APAC and global’s initiatives to enhance brand positioning and create demand
  • Plan and implement all pre-launch and launch activities of new products
  • Conduct training to CSOs, distributors and end users at hospitals
  • Being the expert in all visual identity aspects as well as in Guerbet’s products specificities and differentiations
  • Implement digital marketing in China along Guerbet’s digital transformation eco-system
  • Diligently monitor healthcare trends, report impact of changes and implications for the organization for new and existing Technologies
  • Identify product gap and Chinese customers’ needs and make recommendations to APAC and HQ to develop products which suits Chinese market
  • Improve product marketability & profitability by researching, identifying, and capitalizing on market opportunities
  • Influence several internal & external key stakeholders by articulating the DI & II brands clinical differentiation effectively & powerfully
  • Identify marketing opportunities by identifying customer requirements, defining market, competitor's share, and competitor's local footprints, forecasting projected business, establishing targeted market share
  • Meet marketing objectives by forecasting requirements, preparing an annual budget, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, initiating corrective actions
  • Frame Guerbet brands footprint at major communication events (congresses, workshops, symposia & local customers centric events) in China
  • Work with the Clinical Application & Medical team of Guerbet in tandem to ensure medico-marketing training of key internal & external stakeholders in China
  • KOL management (design & conduct KOL management program)
  • Map-out market trends through identifying customer’s insight thanks to market research, competitive intelligence data gathering & analysis
  • Liaise with APAC and Global marketing for support and share practices
  • Support all business development teams to their congress organization and participation.

 

Educations & Experiences

  • 8+ years sales/marketing experience in the pharmaceutical industry and / or the medical devices industry with 5+ years’ experience in product marketing management
  • Experience in both marketing and sales, in China pharma market, Diagnostic imaging, intervention oncology, peripheral intervention, OBGNs experience a plus; prior experience in managing external partnership a Plus

 

Skills & Qualifications

  • Possess knowledge of Chinese Healthcare systems and understand the regulatory requirement of pharmaceutical and medical device industry in China
  • Demonstrates in-depth experience, knowledge and skills in product/market management
  • Strong Interpersonal, analytical, diplomatic and negotiation skills in multicultural environment
  • Strong communication skill and business acumen
  • Able to work independently with minimal guidance and determine own work priorities
  • Good understanding of digital marketing
  • Good English skill in speaking and writing
