This position is responsible for contributing to the timely and accurate accounts payable activities, reconciliation, and reporting process.  The position will be responsible for supervising the Accounts Payable functions relating to internal and external customers.  This person will interact with a wide variety of individuals within the organization.  This position will also work closely with sub functions of Finance and will assist them with their responsibilities, including special projects.

 

Main Responsibilities

  • Prepare, review financial statements including Monthly/ Quarterly/Annual reporting package 
  • Ensure all the compulsory taxes(Corporate Income Tax, VAT)
  • Prepare external and internal financial audit
  • Reviewing supporting documents for AP/AR/GL/Asset
  • Responsible for quality and timely cash management
  • Handle employees’ corporate card payment and management.
  • Handles create PO and IR in SAP duties.
  • Inter-company accounting and reconciliations for Korea.
  • Handle any ad-hoc tasks for SSC as assigned.

 

 

Cash Management

  • Application of Corporate guidelines
  • Responsible for timely payments and cash management duties.
  • Handle cash flow actual and monthly forecast management duties.
  • Handle accounts receivable and promissory note duties. (Customer, Interco)
  • Handle accounts payable and vendors & Interco payment duties.
  • Handle employees’ travel and expense review and payment.
  • Reporting in line with Corporate requirements

 

Internal Control

  • Implementation, application and control of all Corporate guidelines, instructions and policies
  • Management of local necessary procedures and SOP( Standard of process)
  • Detection and prevention of frauds
  • Liaison with internal audit

 

Information Systems

  • Management of Local ERP (SAP)
  • Participate to develop local ERP and new process to provide business advantages if any.
  • Involve in system enhancement and testing.

 

 

Educations & Experiences

  • Understanding of pharmaceutical and healthcare industry a plus
  • Experience with SAP ERP is highly preferred.
  • Minimum of 7~10 years work experience
  • Degree in Economics, Accounting or Finance
  • Qualified CPA preferable
  • Audit experience is preferable
  • Comfortable with information systems and co-working.

 

Skills & Qualifications

  • Responds positively to changes in business processes
  • Effective oral and written communication skills in English
  • Good MS Office skills including Excel, PPT and Word, etc.
  • Ability to take initiative voluntarily.
  • Adaptable, strong team player with outstanding communication skills and ability to work with all functional areas
  • Ability to prioritize work to meet deadlines; self-motivated with a sense of urgency.
