 LATAM MSL Interventional Radiology M/F (30798)

 

We are looking for a highly motivated and scientifically driven Medical Science Liaison (MSL) to support our Interventional Radiology business across Latin America.

In this role, you will serve as the scientific expert and trusted partner for healthcare professionals, Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), research institutions, and medical societies. You will play a key role in advancing scientific exchange, supporting clinical research initiatives, generating actionable medical insights, and contributing to the successful adoption and development of Guerbet's Interventional Radiology portfolio across the region.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the scientific liaison between Guerbet and the medical/scientific community in Interventional Radiology.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with KOLs, thought leaders, academic institutions, and centers of excellence across LATAM.
  • Deliver accurate, balanced, and timely scientific information regarding marketed and pipeline products.
  • Gather, analyze, and communicate medical insights from the field to support medical and business strategies.
  • Support investigator-initiated studies (IIS), clinical research activities, and scientific publication opportunities.
  • Participate in national and international congresses, symposia, and scientific meetings, translating findings into actionable recommendations.
  • Collaborate with Medical Affairs, Marketing, Sales, Clinical Development, and Compliance teams on strategic projects and educational initiatives.
  • Support medical education programs, workshops, and hands-on training activities related to Interventional Radiology.
  • Identify evidence gaps, unmet medical needs, and opportunities for future research and scientific engagement.
  • Contribute to launch readiness activities, KOL engagement plans, and post-launch medical monitoring.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, ethical standards, pharmacovigilance requirements, and applicable regulations.
  • Monitor scientific developments, clinical practice changes, and competitive activities within the Interventional Radiology landscape.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in a scientific field such as Medicine, Pharmacy, Biological Sciences, Nursing, or related disciplines.
  • 3–5 years of experience as a Medical Science Liaison or in a similar Medical Affairs role.
  • Fluency in English, Spanish, and Portuguese.
  • Strong scientific communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Solid understanding of hospital environments, interventional procedures, clinical research, and healthcare systems.
  • Knowledge of clinical guidelines, clinical trial processes, medical devices, pharmaceuticals, and healthcare regulations.
  • Experience in Interventional Radiology is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in cross-functional and multicultural environments.
  • High level of accountability, ethics, integrity, and compliance mindset.

Location: São Paulo, Brazil

Scope: Latin America

Travel Requirement: 50–70% travel, including overnight travel as needed
