WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are seeking a Distribution Supervisor to oversee the full distribution chain and warehouse operations in both São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro. This role is based on-site at our São Paulo warehouse located in Itapevi city (far from São Paulo capital) and requires periodic travel to Rio de Janeiro.

YOUR ROLE

  • Supervise the end-to-end distribution chain across the states of São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro.
  • Oversee daily operations of both warehouses, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and service quality.
  • Manage a team of 3 to 4 direct reports, including remote leadership of the team based in Rio de Janeiro.
  • Conduct periodic business trips to Rio de Janeiro 3–4 times per year, staying one week per trip.
  • Lead conflict resolution, negotiation processes, and cost‑optimization initiatives.
  • Participate in BID processes for supplier selection and evaluation.
  • Ensure full compliance with the specific regulations governing the healthcare and pharmaceutical logistics sector.
  • Represent the distribution area in internal meetings with different hierarchical levels and support international audits when required.

 

YOUR BACKGROUND

  • Proven experience in distribution, warehouse operations, and logistical processes.
  • Background in healthcare, medical devices, or pharmaceutical logistics, with understanding of regulatory requirements.
  • Experience in team leadership and people management (on-site and remote).
  • Strong communication skills and ability to engage with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage conflicts, prioritize tasks, and make firm decisions when necessary.
  • Experience with supplier management and BID processes.
  • Intermediate proficiency in English, especially for supporting international audits.
  • Availability for occasional travel to Rio de Janeiro.
