QC Lab Coordinator

Job Summary

Responsible for inventory management of reagents and consumables, sample receipt and tracking, and various laboratory support tasks including, but not limited to, reagent preparation, housekeeping duties, and equipment maintenance. The Lab Coordinator must be self-motivated, organized, and flexible and able to work under deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

What you will be responsible for

  • Assists in providing laboratory with an audit ready status as compared to global regulatory agencies as applicable.
  • Works in a team environment to support internal and external customer requirements.
  • Coordinate and facilitate lab equipment calibration, maintenance, service calls
  • Perform sample receipt, sample labeling, and reconcile samples
  • Prepare solutions and reagents to support testing
  • Maintain clean glassware
  • Perform equipment calibrations
  • Maintain inventory of reagents and consumables, anticipate supply needs, and order supplies as needed
  • Ensure laboratory is clean, organized, and ready for analysts to perform testing
  • Maintain a safe environment for conducting quality control testing
  • Work with management to achieve site and laboratory goals
  • Perform tasks in adherence to laboratory safety, cGMP, and cGDP practices
  • Verify receipt of supplies and reagent and ensure proper storage and labelling
  • Monitor reagent expiry and discard expired reagents promptly
  • Support and maintain 5S initiatives throughout the lab

What you bring

Education required/ preferred:                          

BS in Chemistry (preferred) or other science with General, Organic, and Analytical chemistry coursework.

Experience Preferred:

0-2 years of Analytical Chemistry testing in an FDA regulated environment (pharmaceutical mfg preferred)



Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously with accuracy and precision.  Ability to establish priorities and demonstrate leadership.
