WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

This person will be responsible for the maintenance and management of all aspects of end customer, distributor, and government pricing inquiries and contract maintenance. This will include but is not limited to distributor notifications and claims, membership management, GPO fees and rebate payments. In addition, responsibilities will play a crucial role in driving sales forecasting, demand planning, and inventory management processes to optimize supply chain efficiency.

 

YOUR ROLE

  • Serve as the main point of contact for all pricing inquiries

  • Develop pricing management/strategies for all portfolio products sold in the US Market

  • Analyze market trends, competitor pricing, and internal cost structures to develop and recommend competitive and sustainable pricing strategies

  • Develop pricing analytics and systematical elevation process for price negotiations. Partnering with marketing, sales, and finance.

  • Utilize statistical models and data analysis techniques to assess the impact of pricing decisions on revenue, profitability, and patient access.

  • Develop reports, dashboards, and presentations to communicate pricing insights

  • Recommend pricing adjustments based on data analysis, market conditions, customer needs.

  • Responsible for the creation and system implementation of a contract agreement/amendments, new/discontinued products, and other required changes to contracts.

  • Assure accurate pricing, appropriate approvals, signatures, and resolving problems which may arise through the lifecycle of the contract.

  • Analyze and resolve discrepancies reported by Distributors, Customers and Sales Reps.

  • Review signed customer contracts and ensure timely and accurate implementation in pricing system.

  • Administer the set up and payment of admin fees and rebates associated with the GPO, End Customer and Distributor contracts.

  • Perform system and regression testing when new programs or enhancements to programs are implemented.

  • Manage GPO and IDN membership databases

  • Takes ownership and accountability for ongoing contract lifecycle management processes and priorities.

  • Format and organize reporting data in accordance with existing policies and procedures.

  • Develop and maintain accurate sales forecasts based on historical data, market trends, and sales inputs.

  • Analyze demand patterns, seasonality, and market trends to adjust forecasts and enhance overall accuracy.

  • Facilitate a monthly sales and operations planning meetings with marketing/sales.

  • Drive continuous improvement of volume forecasting processes, systems, and tools

  • Establish KPIs for demand planning and regularly evaluate and report on performance against these metrics.

  • Prioritize production based on supply chain deficits, product demand and sales forecasts.

  • Monitor product costing with marketing at the item level for all categories.

  • Develop effective forecast models based on industry trends and demand patterns.

  • Support management with risk assessments and mitigation activities.

  • Successfully communicate forecast and inventory estimations to management.

  • Monitor and report on important changes in sales forecasts, budgets, and business strategies.

  • Conduct monthly forecast maintenance.

  • Reviewing past budgets, identifying and forecasting revenue for the coming period, and assigning amounts to spend on a company's various costs

 

YOUR BACKGROUND

  • Bachelors’ degree, advanced degree (MBA preferred)

  • 7-10 years of proven experience, pricing, contracts, and/or demand planning

  • Knowledge of pharmaceutical market dynamics, regulations, and industry best practice preferred

  • Management experience and customer centric leadership qualities

  • Ability to analyze data for reasonableness, anomalies and trends

  • Critical thinker with strong attention to detail and ability to problem solve and establish in a high-growth and fast-paced environment.

  • Organizational skills and the ability to multi-task

  • Dependable, high level of integrity and customer focused

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Powerpoint (intermediate to advanced)

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
