WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are looking for a dynamic Master Data Specialist to perform Customer Master Data maintenance for the EMEA and AMER regions, ensuring accurate creation, updates, and ongoing data quality for all customer accounts. This role safeguards the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of customer information in alignment with corporate standards and business requirements. In addition to core responsibilities, the specialist serves as a backup for Global Vendor and Pricing Master Data, providing support to ensure business continuity and timely processing.
YOUR ROLE
- Responsible for the timely and accurate processing of internal requests to create new Customers or update existing Master Data in SAP, in line with global data standards and compliance requirements.
- Ensure high data quality, integrity, and consistency across all regions by processing requests within the given SLAs and providing updates to requestors in a timely manner.
- Act as the primary point of contact for Customer Master Data requests, including new account creation, modifications, and issue resolution, while also acting as a backup for Vendor and Pricing Master Data activities.
- Support fraud‑prevention activities by verifying customer details and escalating irregularities when necessary.
- Collaborate with regional teams, finance, sales, and compliance to ensure customer data supports both operational and strategic business needs.
- Actively contribute to customer centricity and continuous improvement by documenting, updating, and maintaining procedures, policies, and manuals.
- Validate incoming requests and provide requestors with feedback regarding the correctness and completeness of submitted data.
- Perform regular data checks and conduct data cleansing to remove obsolete, unused, or duplicate records for improved system performance.
- Archive all relevant approvals for audit and compliance purposes.
- Ensure all working practices follow company policies and procedures, including health & safety and equal‑opportunity guidelines.
- Promote and ensure compliance with Master Data governance, maintaining clean, accurate, and compliant Master Data.
YOUR BACKGROUND
- Experience in Master Data Management (Customer, Vendor, or Pricing).
- Solid understanding of ERP systems (e.g., SAP).
- Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Ability to work cross functionally in a global environment.
- Good analytical and problem solving skills.
- High level of integrity and commitment to data governance.
- Ability to work independently.
