North UK Territory Manager Interventional Manager

Job purpose and responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

  • Identifying, segmenting & mapping key accounts and stakeholders within territory
  • Developing & implementing project plans with National Sales Specialist
  • Deliver on territory sales budget for flagship Lipiodol segment
  • Deliver on territory sales budget for target Microcatheters segment
  • Engaging with / managing key decision makers within territory
  • Provide clinical support & training in Interventional Lab
  • Developing & executing commercial deals with accounts
  • Reports directly to UK National Sales Manager Interventional Imaging
  • Work in collaboration with II National Sales Specialist at Key Accounts
  • Work in collaboration with Women’s Health Manager as requested


Develop the use of Lipiodol, SeQure & Drakon in both the NHS and Private sectors within the UK

  • Deliver on Lipiodol sales budget for UK market
  • Increase penetration of Microcatheter use through engaging with appropriate KOL’s and referring clinicians & budgetary finance managers.


Develop & Implement of UK Strategy

  • Identify main II centres and work with UK Sales Specialist for Interventional Imaging to accelerate and execute on these opportunities
  • Establish productive, professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts
  • Provide regular input and training for internal Management meetings, Leadership and Management reviews
  • Collaboratively work to develop target accounts by coordinating the involvement of other company personnel when needed, including support resources, team members, and management.
  • Gain market share, optimise pricing strategy, and build long-term contractual agreements and relationships with Key Accounts


  • Achieve quarterly and annual sales targets
  • Identify and develop Key Opinion Leader support and represent Guerbet at scientific conferences and networking events to reinforce Guerbet presence and brand on the market
  • Supports initiatives that ensure product profitability.
  • Maintains high customer satisfaction ratings that meet company standards
  • Completes required training and development objectives within the assigned timeframe


Scope of the role:

This is a field-based role which requires regular travel across the assigned territory (North UK).

The location of the candidate is flexible as long as it permits him/her to travel across the assigned territory.

Required Skills & Background

•    Preferably, Life Sciences-related (medical, scientific, pharmacy) degree
•    Additional, Business Administration degree a strong plus

•    Minimum (3) years successful Field Sales Experience in the Pharmaceutical/Health Care industry; prior Product Management experience a strong plus
•    Thorough understanding of national / local health care systems
•    Proven negotiation experience in a multi stakeholder environment
•    Strong organizational & communication skills

Preferred Skills/Qualifications:
•    Proficiency in English required
•    Good working knowledge of Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
•    Valid driving license 
•    Negotiation skills
