WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
The Key Account Manager is responsible for selling Guerbet products (contrast media, contrast delivery injectors, consumables and software) and maintaining relationships with new and existing accounts including large, complex, high visibility, strategic, or tactically important accounts.
YOUR ROLE
- Deliver sales growth in line with company goals, by managing current accounts and expanding the business in the assigned territory, Lombardia region
- Apply professional and effective sales techniques.
- Develop a network of clinical and non-clinical stakeholders.
- Monitor daily sales and measure results.
- Maintain account plans through company tools (e.g. Salesforce.com), customer contact details, review territory plans on a frequent basis.
- Monitor/manage public and private hospital tenders/contracts.
- Watch and report on actions taken by competitors.
- Cooperate with company’s departments such as Marketing, Customer Services, Sales Operations, Tender Office.
YOUR BACKGROUND
- Bachelor/Master degree, preferably in sciences medicine, pharmacy, chemistry, biology according to D.Lgs. 24/04/2006 n. 219.
- Minimum of 3 years’ sales experience within the life science /medical device sector.
- Preference, but not mandatory, for previous experience in Radiology market
- Proven successful sales track record.
- Based in Lombardia, preferably in Milan or surrounding areas
- Enthusiastic, dedicated, committed and autonomous approach to work.
- Good knowledge of English language, both written and spoken.
- Good computer skills, and experience with CRM software and the Microsoft Office Suite, noticeably Excel.
- Self-confidence and self-driven, positive attitude. Ability to navigate in changing environment.
- Attend professional meetings (i.e. congresses, symposia) to build networks of contacts on behalf of the company.
