Role purpose

 

The Clinical Application Specialist is to provide product training and clinical support to internal parties (sales and marketing) as well as external customers (including distributors and imaging professionals at hospitals). He / She will be responsible to deliver the Revenue & Sales Objectives set for the year of Injector / Syringes & Disposable Business and Software Solutions.

 

Geographical perimeter = Italy. Ideally based in Rome or Lazio region to cover central Italy regions and in case of necessity the rest of Italy.

 

Main Responsibilities

  • Develop proper training materials and organize training including product knowledge and clinical application of our products to external customers including distributors and imaging professionals at hospitals / imaging centers.
  • Train both sales team and customers in usage of injectors, medical devices and software.
  • Presents to customers injectors, medical devices and digital solutions through demo and customer visits accordingly with the strategy of the sales team.
  • Regular update of clinical and scientific papers related to our products and application to handle customers’ queries or complaints
  • Regular update of new clinical protocols.
  • Support the marketing, sales & local distributors’ manager on new product launches and participation into medical congresses / conferences.
  • Assist the sales & local distributors’ manager to pay regular visit to key accounts and KOLs of key markets.
  • To develop effective OEM Partnerships for Injector & Disposable business.
  • To Deliver the revenue & sales objectives set for the year across region designated partnering with Channel Partners / Internal Team & End Customers.
  • Ensure customer data base and CRM system updates.

Technical Service Support - Manage technical service agreements and warranty follow up with externa partner in TS. Installation, troubleshooting, maintenance and technical assistance on Injectors and Softwares.

  • Supports external outsourced TS company.
  • Follows paperwork (contracts, consignments, etc.)
  • Liaise with HQ Tech Services team, to ensure governance and good practice in terms of training and tracking of TS KPIs.

 

Educations & Experiences

  • Degree qualified as a Radiographer, alternatively Biomedical Engineer
  • Experience in the education of adults in complex technical information
  • Previous experience in customer-relationship management role.

  • Regional travel across responsible territory as required by the business (60 - 80% of time)
  • Attend conferences, meetings or on-site technical assistance, which may be scheduled out of usual business hours
  • Provide in-service support to customers after usual business hours, as required.
