Account Executive Interventional Imaging (Italy) M/F (29704)

 

Job Purpose

The purpose of the Account Executive Interventional Imaging is to focus in Developing & Implementing the new II Strategy, considering the refocus of Lipiodol to grow the business, by producing a pipeline of opportunities.

 

Principal Responsibilities:

 

  • Drive the country agenda to plan and execute II Strategy to maximize sales
  • Identify the key areas as per the new Lipiodol re-focus, accelerating actions on medical education to drive growth.
  • Identifying, segmenting & mapping potential target opportunities
  • Developing & implementing pipeline plans
  • Deliver on defined sales budget for target segment
  • Produces market share data by modality
  • Engaging with / managing key decision makers
  • Become the expert in by developing knowledge surrounding competitive activity
  • Participate in national, local and European congresses
  • Leads territory team reviews and updates of account plan based on changing market, customer conditions, and competitive activity.

 

Maximise access to Guerbet Products by developing II business opportunities

 

  • Ability to build relationships and expand company's presence within labs.
  • Passion for learning clinical cases.
  • Ability to build trust with physicians, by providing solutions based in scientific approaches.
  • Increase penetration through engaging with appropriate KOL’s and referring clinicians to develop clinical knowledge and expertise, leveraging Guerbet Medical Education resources to accelerate Lipiodol growth
  • To develop OEM and private sector business
  • Establish Guerbet as reliable partners
  • Collaboratively work to develop target accounts by coordinating the involvement of other company personnel when needed

Experience / Skills:

 

Education

  • Preferably Radiology
  • Life Sciences-related (medical, scientific, pharmacy, radiography)
  • Additional, Business Administration degree is a strong plus

 

Experience

  • Minimum 3 years of selling experience within a pharma/medical devices industry, with familiarity and knowledge of oncology doctors within Interventional Radiology, Interventional Oncology, Endovascular and Vascular disciplines.
  • Deep relationships with access to Interventional Radiology clinicians is required. 
  • Strong organizational & communication skills
  • Strong understanding of sales processes and pharmaceutical regulatory requirements.

  • Valid driver license
  • Quickly develop strong and effective selling skills
  • Visual acuity and analytical skill to distinguish fine detail
  • Manual dexterity to use common Interventional Radiology department equipment and perform sterile techniques as required
  • Must possess ability to sit and/or stand for long periods of time
  • Full working proficiency in Italian

 

Relationship with others

Reports directly to the Area Sales Manager or Business Development Manager.

 

Scope of position

The role is field based and requires extensive travel within the assigned territory.
