Tax Compliance
You will manage and facilitate, with the support of a Tax Compliance large network, the accurate and timely preparation and filing of US company’s state and federal income tax returns while ensuring compliance and monitoring changes to tax regulations. You will also oversee all other tax compliance matters including sales and use tax, property tax, withholding tax, etc
Direct and indirect Tax
- Provide direct and indirect tax advice to internal business partners on ongoing business and to new business initiatives.
- Analyze the tax effects of various domestic and international transactions.
- Manage US tax consolidation.
- Coordinate and manage the federal and state income tax calendars, estimated tax payments, and reporting of cash taxes
- Manage the state income tax planning process to drive strategies for cash tax savings and effective tax rate reduction.
- Prepare calculations and tax forecasting including effective tax rate calculations, accounting entries, and deferred tax analyses.
Tax Accounting / Reporting
• Manage accounting and internal controls for income tax activities.
• Manage all aspects of US GAAP tax accounting of US operations for the closing process.
• Complete the tax schedules of the SAP FC reporting package to HQ.
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Tax.
- CPA or Masters of Business Taxation preferred.
- 10 years of experience in Tax Accounting.
- Extensive understanding of US taxation, US international tax, and indirect taxes.
- Strong technical experience in US GAAP accounting principles and in IFRS.
- Combination of private industry and Big 4 background appreciated.
- Highly motivated, hard-working with strong organizational/prioritization skills.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders (Accounting, Financial Controlling, Treasury, Legal, etc…) to deliver optimal tax guidance to customers’ concerns.
