The IT Senior Business Analyst SAP Finance & Procurement (FTM & PTP) is responsible for supporting end-users with SAP solution ERP and all related business applications such as reporting and compliance, business intelligence, expenses and RPA.

 

This position will report to the IT Business Partnership Manager and in dotted lines to the SAP Competence Team responsible and to the Regional Management. She/he will work with multiple groups of business resources and IT teams and will be responsible for supporting SAP users in their daily activities across various regional entities to ensure business solutions are used properly.


YOUR ROLE

The primary mission is to ensure a correct end-user support of the following:

 

  • Support users in daily operations, mainly SAP Finance To Manage processes

  • Managing user-ids and authorizations

  • Checking interfaces between systems

  • Qualifying defects raised by Key-Users

  • Analyzing and documenting new requirements with Business Key-Users

  • Organizing and running Non Regression Tests

  • Leverage functional knowledge and training to assist end users in identification and resolution of basic issues.

  • Contribute to functional support documentation including improvement recommendations

  • Communicate issue, request, or problem status to all parties as appropriate.

  • Facilitate and actively participate in functional activities as they relate to application configuration

  • Follow established escalation procedures.

  • Coordinate and support planned application or system outages for maintenance primarily impacting assigned areas of work. Partner with business user groups and supporting technical teams

  • Assist with documentation of test scenarios for Technical Unit Testing/Functional Unit Testing/UAT test phases. Map scenarios to functional and technical requirements.

  • Create support documentation.

  • Assist with delivering training capabilities.

 

She/he will support the group Core Model best practice in close collaboration with regional business counterparts. The position includes working extensively with international teams: IT, business and project rollout teams. When participating to local rollout projects or evolutions, she/he will assist with creation and review of business functional design, user testing, training. As member of a regional support team, she/he will have to insure backups during vacations, training, and projects activities of her /his Sales counterpart

 

YOUR BACKGROUND

  • 3-year degree in Information Technologies or appropriate Business-related degree with an emphasis on business information systems or an equivalent combination of job experience

  • At least experienced with 3 years of end-users’ support or several project life cycle implementations: scope is FTM – and satellite processes.

  • Experience supporting the following SAP Modules: FI, CO, FTM, PTP.

  • Demonstrates end-users support capabilities.

  • Solid understanding of Change Management concepts

  • Matrix organization experiences will be appreciated.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Comfortable with communicating with different levels of technology and business leadership.

  • Must be proactive and can-do attitude.

  • Must possess a problem solver and creative mindset.
