The HR Generalist collaborates with Regional HR Business Partner in implementing strategic initiatives that result in continuous improvement, enhance employee engagement, improve working relationships, and provide positive business results for the South and North of LATAM region: (Argentina, Colombia, Chile, Panama, and Mexico) including the Shared Service Center in Mexico City. Main activities are as follows:

 

YOUR ROLE:

 

  • Be the first point of contact for all HR-related queries in the South and North of LATAM region
  • Execute on both operational and project-based work across various HR programs, such as the annual performance review cycle, talent management initiatives, engagement, training and payroll and benefits processes etc.
  • Support the annual bonus and merit increase schemes.
  • Supports hiring plan processes: post job requisitions, manage relationships with third party recruitment partners, coordinate selection processes, plan and organize interview schedules, and prepare to hire.
  • Coordinate and plan for employee onboarding; organize and conduct new employee orientations
  • Support in the identification of employees’ training needs, booking training and maintain an accurate completion of training records.
  • Support in the preparation of budget files and analyze employees ‘costs and movements that affect the budget   
  • Monitor employee morale and company culture.
  • Ensure the relevant HR database is up to date, accurate and complies with legislation.
  • Support on the management of the benefits vendors by managing benefits renewals and coordinate events (wellness, social responsibility/ voluntary work).
  • Support the implementation of HR policies and practice
  • Supporting internal stakeholders in HR Audit processes

 

YOUR BACKGROUND

  • Bachelor´s degree in Psychology or Business Administration
  • Minimum of 7 years of work experience as HR Generalist preferably in a multinational organization
  • and experience with payroll and benefits management, talent acquisition, and HR processes (onboarding, annual review, salary campaign)
  • Employment relations experience including conducting investigations and resolution development required
  • Must take initiative to improve processes as needed.
  • Organized, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and set priorities in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Must have a mindset to identify problems and seek solutions.
  • Aptitude for critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision making.
  • Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal), with an ability to build partnerships and establish rapport and credibility at all levels
  • Strong ethics and confidentiality skills
  • Culturally aware, understands different perspectives of working with a diverse workforce that recognizes and respects diversity.
  • Advanced/ Fluent in English and Spanish
  • Experienced Microsoft Office user (mainly Excel).

 

Hybrid work: 3 days from the office and 2 day from home
