POSITION SUMMARY

YOUR ROLE

Professional with a desirable knowledge of the R2R function, proactive, self-starter that is inquisitive, takes ownership, and wants to grow their personal and professional skills in a hyper-accelerated environment.
The R2R Junior Analyst has good understanding of procedures within own area, and may resolve issues using own judgement within well-defined practices and precedence, serving counties in America.
Provides support to the Record to Report Pleno and/or Senior Analysts and Managers regarding the daily work coordination.
Develop knowledge and capability to raise competence to expected levels to meet current and future business needs.
Contribute process and technical expertise to process improvement initiatives
Accountable for the professional support that is due to customers to ensure a high tier customer satisfaction level.
Handle all incoming calls/e-mails/tickets from the business. Try to solve these issues and escalate them to relevant team, when required.
Build strong collaborative networks with key stakeholders and ensure good/adequate communication
Maintain and adhere to record to report procedural documentation
Performs general accounting activities, including the preparation, maintenance and reconciliation of ledger accounts and financial statements such as balance sheets, profit-and-loss statements and capital expenditure schedules
Prepares, records, analyzes and reports accounting transactions and ensures the integrity of accounting records for completeness, accuracy and compliance with accepted accounting policies and principles.
Provides financial support, including forecasting, budgeting and analyzing variations from budget.
Supports in analysis and preparation of statutory accounts, financial statements and reports.
Reports to Record to Report Process Manager.

YOUR BACKGROUND

Basic to intermediate understanding of R2R processes, their associated risks and mitigating internal controls.
Basic to intermediate understanding of Operations, Quality management and SLA frameworks.
Basic to intermediate knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles, such as IFRS and internal control principles, both in theory and in practice, combined with self-driven and analytical approach.
Basic to intermediate experience in all Microsoft Office packages (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook).
Basic to intermediate experience in ERP systems (SAP and JDE) as well as GL modules
Travel is expected to be 10- 15%.

This position is a direct report to the General Accounting Lead. The role works closely with the SSC Mexico team members and the Financial and Commercial organization across Latam and North America
