SUMMARY OF ROLE

Guerbet SSC America Accounts Payable Senior Analyst ensures that expenses are duly approved, by verifying and reconciling invoices according to established policies and procedures in an efficient, timely and accurate manner, the position is also responsible for overseeing travel expenses in the region assigned. The role works closely with the Junior Position in the region assigned to make sure the process is done accordingly. Additionally, this position works closely with the business users to follow up on the outstanding issues as the main point of contact.

 

Additionally, the Accounts Payable Senior  Analyst will proactively review existing policies and procedures and provide recommendations for process improvement and issue resolution

 

YOUR ROLE

  • Key and main point of contact for business users to provide answer to their queries.

  • Complete the invoicing/travel and expense process with the highest quality.

  • To work hand in hand with the junior position to make sure the process is done accordingly to the procedures and policies.

  • Lead the process in the region assigned.

  • Taking part in the development of the skills and knowledge of the junior position.

  • Implement solutions to improve processes.

  • Follow up on outstanding items in workflow to ensure timely processing.

  • Review problems on invoices, work with business owners to resolve.

  • Review expense reports in Concur to ensure expenses are classed to the appropriate account and post journal entries in JDE.

  • Perform analysis on vendor inquiries to understand what the drivers are.

  • Identify opportunities to decrease volume of manual processing.

  • Follow up on pending debit/credit memos.

  • Ensure timely follow-up with vendors regarding processing.

  • Ability to provide correction and follow-up items delegated to the P2P exception state and correct and rout accordingly.

  • Perform closing processes and month end invoice/expense accruals hand in hand with R2R team.

  • Perform other duties or special projects as needed

 

 

YOUR BACKGROUND

  • Proficiency in all MS Office packages (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook).

  • Proficiency in the P2P end to end process.

  • Proficiency in ERPs.
