This position is mainly responsible for handling the accounting function of the SSC, including payable and payments and assist in month end activities.

Main Responsibilities

Responsible for quality and timely payments and cash management, mainly focus China entity
Review purchase requisitions and ensure it is correctly posted in system and process payments
Review employees’ travel and entertainment expense and process payments
Preparation of reports according to local government/regulatory bodies
Assist to perform various tasks in month end closing process, including bank reconciliation, account reconciliation and month end accruals and preparation of schedules
Assist in system enhancement and testing
Assist in preparation of annual audit
Handle any ad-hoc tasks for SSC as assigned

Requirements

Degree holder in Accountancy, Finance or related discipline
Student member of accounting organization preferable
At least 2 years of accounting working experience
Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese (including Mandarin)
Knowledge of China accounting and taxation is preferred
Knowledge of U8 (yonyou) and SAP system is preferred
Experience in international environment / SSC is preferred
Pharmaceutical background is preferred
A proactive team player with good organizational and communication skills
Mature, independent and able to work under pressure
Analytical and details oriented
Good interpersonal skills and strong sense of responsibility
