This is a temporary role for 6 months for maternity cover. The contract will last from February/March 2024 to August/September 2024 depending on the start date.


The APAC HR Operations Leader is responsible for leading the HR Operations team for APAC. As the HR Operations Leader, you will serve as a key point of contact for the HRIS, Payroll, Compensation & Benefits and HR controlling COEs to provide tactical support for APAC and contribute to process optimizations across the employee lifecycle. The role will interface with Global HR COEs and APAC HRBPs to help coordinate and drive HR Operations initiatives in APAC.


Main Responsibilities

  • Provide daily management, coaching, and guidance to APAC HR Operations team.
  • Partner closely with the HRBPs to deliver a smooth HR life cycle support (from onboarding to offboarding).
  • Partner closely with COEs in HQ to execute HR projects in APAC as required.
  • Responsible for providing with the team all payroll inputs and changes on time towards the Global Payroll team.
  • Oversee all administrative HR processes like contract creation, letters, P-files etc.
  • Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with third-party vendors (insurance, leave system, attendance system) including contract negotiations, issue to ensure process optimization, SLA delivery, and strong experience for our employees.
  • Contribute to HRIS activities in line with the Global HRIS function strategy. Responsibility for all HRIS data accuracy for APAC.
  • The HR Operations team should be the first point of contact for all employee questions regarding HR processes, employee handbooks, employee benefits and general HR questions.
  • Support for HR controlling; manage FTE and headcount budgeting, staff costs budgeting.
  • Responsible for supporting and delivering transformation initiatives/projects.


Educations & Experiences

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related disciplines.
  • 7 to 10 years of relevant HR Operations experience preferably in the areas of Payroll, HR systems and processes.
  • 3 years management experience preferred.
  • Third-party vendor collaboration and management experience.
  • Experience in working under matrix organizational structure.

  • Strong analytical skills, including the understanding of metrics to support plans and monitor performance.
  •  In-depth understanding of legislation and employment laws, regulations, and general practice related to employment, benefits, and payroll.
  • Strong verbal, written, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and focus on follow through to resolve outstanding issues.
  • Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks, meet all deadlines.
  • Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate across functions.
