Our Need:

 

The Line Leader is responsible for providing daily production leadership, personnel guidance, and support for the production work center. They will be an active participant within the team and serve as the primary day-to-day operations lead.  Line Leader will possess detailed knowledge and understanding of the work center based upon cumulative job-specific experience, manufacturing certifications and specialized training. Good communication and interpersonal skills are a must. Line Leaders should also have a thorough working knowledge of area SOP’s, and be able to interpret and apply Good Manufacturing Practices. This is a weekend position from 5:00am - 5:30pm Friday-Sunday.

 

Your Role:

 

  • Completing daily and weekly production goals in the assigned work center
  • Organizing and leading work team(s)
  • Scheduling daily rotation assignments
  • Demonstrating self-direction and initiative
  • Assisting with training and mentoring of new hires and temporary employees
  • Demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in response to changing production schedules and staffing arrangements
  • Assisting the Production Supervisor with employee reviews
  • Effectively communicate production delays to different levels of leadership

 

Your Background:

 

Education required/ preferred:

HS graduate or GED; associates degree preferred but not required

Experience:

Minimum of five years of work-specific experience as an operator, setup or mechanic

Preferred Skills/Qualifications:

  1. Good verbal and interpersonal communication skills
  2. Leadership or supervisory experience
  3. Sound decision making skills
  4. Good math, reading, writing skills
  5. Basic computer skills to include Word Processing, Spreadsheet, and Electronic mail.

Skills/Competencies:

  1. BPCS knowledge
  2. Able to operate electric jacks
  3. Mental and visual acuity for production of quality product
  4. Attention to detail

 

 

 

You Should Expect:

 

  1. Work in areas where special clean room apparel and safety equipment will be required
  2. Standing is required for extended periods of time
  3. Require high degree of manual dexterity, which could be performed under restrictive conditions
  4. Requires flexible hours and short notice overtime
