WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Field Sales Trainer to join our North America team. This role is pivotal in enhancing the performance and development of our sales team across both Interventional Imaging and Diagnostic Imaging business units. As a strategic partner to our commercial organization, you will lead training efforts aligned with our Selling Model, delivering new hire onboarding, ongoing sales skills development, and product education. This is a field-based position that requires frequent travel.
YOUR ROLE

Spend the majority of time in the field alongside sales representatives, supporting live customer interactions, presentations, and account development activities.

Partner with reps to refine sales messaging, objection handling, competitive positioning, and consultative selling techniques.

Conduct post-call debriefs and provide actionable feedback to reinforce skills and identify coaching opportunities.

Support the development of individual performance improvement plans as needed.

Align closely with Regional Sales Managers (RSMs) to identify training needs, plan market visits, and set clear coaching goals ahead of field rides.

Work together to develop pre-call strategies and post-call wrap-ups to support team learning.

Participate in ongoing field ride evaluations and collaborate on follow-up development plans.

Provide RSMs with insights and tools to further coach their teams independently.

Facilitate engaging, practical training sessions focused on our Selling Model, sales process, and product knowledge.

Lead new hire training and support early onboarding milestones to ensure fast ramp-up.
YOUR BACKGROUND
Education:
-
Bachelor’s degree in business, life sciences, or a related field.
Experience:
-
7-10 years of experience in medical device or pharmaceutical sales; training or field coaching experience preferred.
Skills/Competencies:
-
Strong foundation in sales methodology (e.g., Miller Heiman, Challenger, SPIN, DiSC) and adult learning principles.

Exceptional communication and facilitation skills with an ability to engage and influence across various levels.

Highly organized and self-motivated with a passion for developing others.

Willingness to travel extensively (up to 60%) to support regional and national sales initiatives.
