Role Purpose: The payroll specialist is responsible for the preparation and delivery of payroll services to our employees in the APAC, EMEA and LATAM regions. It is a key role which involves collaborating and building relationships internally and externally with our colleagues, partners and advisors to deliver our promises to our customers, both individual and corporate
Your responsibilities :
Processing of Company's assigned monthly & fortnightly payrolls in EMEA, LATAM and APAC regions through our third-party payroll vendor in a timely and accurate manner.
• Responsible for collating and processing HR & Benefit Changes; new hires, leavers, transfers, LOA, salary changes, sales commission, bonuses, terminations, pensions, medical benefits, BIK, tax exemptions, payroll taxes etc.
• Reviewing output reports including starters and leavers documents
• Preparation of Control Books, reporting, reconciliations, and validations.
• To secure net payments are processed on time.
• Ensure that all monthly and annual tax, social security, pension reporting & 3rd party payments are met.
• Certify payroll journals are posted accurately for our GL team.
• Reconciliation of payroll tax year ends
• Assisting in completion of various internal and external audits (IFRS, Local Statutory, Tax Audits etc)
• Manage payroll mailbox to ensure emails are answered in a professional manner
• Deal with various payroll queries in a prompt manner and build relationships with external payroll provider and colleagues.
• Maintain and update payroll documentation regularly
• Review and approve payroll provider invoices.
• Provide support and backup for team members.
Your profile :
• An IPASS payroll Qualification
• Relevant years’ experience in a similar payroll/HR/accounting role.
• A solid knowledge of payroll processes and the accounting for them.
• Strong verbal, oral and inter-personal skills.
• An ability to work on own initiative and under pressure to meet strict deadlines.
• Customer orientated demonstrating an ability and willingness to satisfy both internal and external customer demands and requirements.
• Adaptability and flexibility when dealing with unplanned and critical issues.
• Demonstrated ability to manage 3rd parties to deliver agreed output to SLAs and Drive efficiencies, process improvements, provide training to colleagues, to streamline payroll processes.
• Ensure that roles and responsibilities are complied with as per the requirements of the site’s safety statement.
