WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
This role is required to support the manufacturing process by improving Maintenance efficiencies and helping to drive reliability in conjunction with the support functions in facilities for all equipment using the available resources.
YOUR ROLE
- Maintaining a safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures and complying with legal codes and regulations.
- Ensure systems remain compliant with quality, safety and environmental requirements particularly FDA, HSA and EPA.
- Ensure the preventative maintenance and calibration programmes meet the defined target levels on a monthly basis.
- Support the Production department in minimising operating downtime by optimising efficiency of resources and tasks.
- Working with the planner and E&I specialist coordinate the work of the Maintenance Technicians to achieve the plant objectives.
- Lead the introduction and improvement of operational excellence techniques, best practices and performance management methods to continually improve the performance of the maintenance team.
- Accomplish maintenance human resource objectives by selecting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching employees, and communicating job expectations etc.
- Improving function and reliability of plant systems and associated equipment by studying performance results, identifying, recommending, and implementing changes and additions.
- Manage , coordinate and plan the annual maintenance shutdown.
- Complete CAPA, MOC Incident reports RCA as required
- Perform other related duties as assigned from time to time based on company needs.
- Ensure that EHS roles and responsibilities are compiled with as per the requirements of the site Safety Statement
YOUR BACKGROUND
- Mechanical Engineering Degree or equivalent.
- 10-15 years industrial experience in a maintenance or engineering role, with specific experience in Maintenance, Calibration & reliability management. Pharmaceutical plant experience an advantage.
- Ability to people manage / leadership qualities and team player.
- Strong problem resolution, judgement and decision making skills.
- Strong ability to influence and build relationships across all levels to get things done.
