WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Guerbet is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Commercial Excellence Director to join our Leadership Team (LT). Reporting directly to the General Manager (GM), this pivotal role will lead the Commercial Excellence function, overseeing teams in analytics, demand planning, and analytics reporting. The Commercial Excellence Director will drive cross-functional collaboration, optimize commercial processes, and deliver actionable insights to accelerate revenue growth and operational efficiency.
YOUR ROLE
- Strategic Leadership: Serve as a core member of the Leadership Team, contributing to strategic decision-making and long-term business planning.
- Team Management: Lead, develop, and mentor the analyst, demand planner, and analytics reporting teams to foster a high-performance, collaborative culture.
- Commercial Excellence Initiatives: Design and implement best-in-class commercial processes across sales, marketing, and operations to drive business growth and market competitiveness.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Oversee the collection, analysis, and interpretation of sales and market data to provide actionable insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
- Demand Planning: Supervise demand planning activities to ensure accurate forecasting, optimal inventory management, and alignment with business objectives.
- Analytics & Reporting: Ensure accurate, timely, and relevant analytics and reporting to support commercial performance assessment and strategic initiatives.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Partner with cross-functional teams including Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Supply Chain to drive alignment and execution of commercial strategies.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement opportunities for process enhancement, automation, and innovation within the Commercial Excellence function.
YOUR BACKGROUND
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, or related field required; Master’s degree (MBA or equivalent) preferred.
- Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in commercial excellence, sales operations, business analytics, or demand planning, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with demonstrated expertise in data-driven commercial decision making.
- Proven track record in leading teams and managing cross-functional projects in a matrixed organization.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills; ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive change.
- Experience in the pharmaceutical, healthcare, or medical device industry is highly desirable.
