WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
We are in search of a committed and seasoned Regional Senior Paralegal to become a part of our Legal Americas Department. Reporting to the Regional Counsel, you will provide high-quality legal services to our internal clients, leveraging your advanced judgment, deep understanding of corporate and contract matters, organizational prowess, and excellent communication skills. This hybrid role is available at our Cincinnati, OH or Raleigh, NC locations.
YOUR ROLE
-
Handle extensive document management and multiple projects, prioritizing tasks to meet stringent deadlines.

Maintain corporate records, minute books, shareholder and legal representative lists, and state registrations; prepare annual minutes, bylaws, stock certificates; manage legalization and apostille, powers of attorney, proxies, and signatures.

Conduct research and analysis on various legal topics as required.

Draft routine legal documents, including amendments and notification letters for existing contracts.

Oversee contract lifecycle management from initiation through award, compliance, and renewal, including coordinating execution and updating the contract SharePoint database.

Implement changes to standard contract templates when business requirements change.

Prepare, review, and organize legal correspondence and files.

Collaborate with the Finance Department and others on invoice payments, department budget, and expense tracking.

Assist the Legal Americas department with expense reporting, travel arrangements, meeting agendas, and other administrative tasks.

Organize and maintain sensitive files, ensuring strict confidentiality.
YOUR BACKGROUND
Education
-
BA/BS degree from an accredited university preferred.
-
Paralegal certificate preferred.
Experience
-
5+ years of relevant legal operations experience (a combination of corporate paralegal experience in a major law firm and in-house legal department experience).

Notary Public commission and SAP experience processing invoices are a plus.
Skills/Competencies

Extensive knowledge of procedures, terminology, and documents related to corporate matters and contract lifecycle.

Experience in project management, business process management, and system implementation.

Proactive, entrepreneurial approach to problem-solving and process development.

Strong time management skills and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Experience with legal spending management and analytics.

Ability to do 5-10% overnight domestic and international travel.

Proficiency in written and verbal English required; Spanish, French, or Portuguese are a plus.

Strong presentation and communication skills.

Ability to work with outside counsel, interact with senior management, and collaborate with colleagues at all levels.

Ability to organize and maintain sensitive files with strict confidentiality.

Strong leadership and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate internal dynamics effectively.

Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and organizational abilities.
