This position will be  responsible for inspection of medical device parts and finished devices coming in and/or departing the facility.

 

YOUR ROLE

  • Ensure parts, assemblies and or finished devices meet required specifications.

  • Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing and Procurement to recommend necessary adjustments.

  • Test devices using equipment and computer software.

  • Review device history record for completion and accuracy.

  • Use various measuring devices to inspect parts.

  • Complete and file inspection records.

  • Complete test documentation.

  • Ability to inspect materials to print specifications.

  • Requires extreme attention to detail and visual acuity.

  • Ability to use various types of equipment.

  • Maintain a clean and orderly work area.

  • Follow all company instructions, safety policies and rules.

  • Complete all company assigned training courses.

  • Pack devices.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

 

YOUR BACKGROUND

  • High School Diploma or equivalence

  • Some computer skills / knowledge

  • Must be able to sit/ stand for extended periods of time

  • Consistent and regular attendance is a requirement of the position

  • Ability to read and follow directions

  • Able to lift to 35 lbs. without assistance

  • Requires flexible hours and short notice overtime
