Permanent contract to be filled as soon as possible.
Scope: Laboratories and computerized systems of control laboratories for the production of active ingredients and finished products
Your Responsibilities:
- Ensure control of data integrity of quality control methods,
- Optimize efficiency of quality control processes
- Coordinate improvement efforts in collaboration with the overall QC network.
- Is the Global System Owner of STARLIMS and EMPOWER for the group, and manages the associated updates and evolutions
In this role, you will:
- Define and deploy QC policies for the Group,
- Ensure that global QC systems are supported and maintained, and manage their evolution in project management mode
- Ensure data integrity requirements are implemented in all quality control laboratories
- Define the format and monitor the operational excellence initiatives of the group’s quality control laboratories
- Identify innovations and automations to improve QC efficiency, define and track QC cycle time targets, ratios and indicators
- Define and validate global control methods, ensuring alignment within the group and providing required training
- Drive support to resolve method performance issues with appropriate QC leaders
- Define requirements and harmonize calibration and preventive maintenance practices of quality control instruments and replacement and upgrade program
- Regularly audit QC laboratories and external QC partners.
Education/Experience Requirements:
- Quality Engineer or Master of Analytical Chemistry/Instrumental Analysis
- Minimum 10 years of experience leading a quality control function in the chemical or pharmaceutical industry.
- Knowledge of key guidelines (FDA, EMA, ICH) and quality system management for control laboratories
- Fluency in written and spoken English allowing excellent communication and real training skills.
- Knowledge of IT applications such as SAP, LEAN LAB, Empower

- Demonstrated project management skills
- Excellent listening skills, ability to diagnose problems, resolve conflicts and negotiate for practical solutions
