Reclamation Technician
SUMMARY OF POSITION:
Responsible for initiating and performing the reclaim process for the preparation of solution for the recovery of API from drug product.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Prepare and label the HDPE drums needed for holding the sterile solution associated with the reclamation of the API.
- Place the sterile solution in the prepared drums as available and insure all material is recorded on the drum log sheets.
- Record drum numbers, acid added and weights as necessary on the drum record sheets.
- Mix and sample each full drum in preparation for QC testing.
- Seal drums, deliver samples to the QC labs and prepare the drum record and log sheets for review.
- Notify warehouse manager when four drums are complete for storage pending shipment.
- Communicate with internal and external customer as needed.
- Work safely in accordance with regulations, standards, and procedures and in a manner that eliminates unreasonable risk to health and the environment. Notify management of unsafe conditions or practices, unlawful activities and activities which present unreasonable health and/or environmental risk. Report all safety and/or environmental incidents to management immediately.
- Ensure production garments and gowning supplies are stocked.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Education required/ preferred: |
High School Diploma required |
Experience: |
1-5 years in production work environment |
Preferred Skills/Qualifications: |
Familiar with cGMP environment preferred |

ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS/SCOPE:
- This position reports to the Form/Fill Manager.
- This position will work closely with Q & R personnel, production supervisors, and warehouse personnel.
- This position has no direct budget responsibility.
