WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
The Senior OPEX/PMO Leader will work with the Site Leadership Team and production personnel to identify and implement improvement opportunities based on business impact. They will also be responsible for sustaining implemented improvements. The Senior OPEX/PMO Leader will provide updates on Lean Transformation progress to the OPEX manager.
YOUR FUNCTIONS:
- Support EHS team by participating in safety GEMBAs and incorporating safety improvements in the Lean Transformation.
- Continuously improve organizational capabilities to achieve process quality and facilitate process improvement.
- Collaborate with supply chain, production, and QC/QA teams to identify potential process improvement projects.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives in quality, service, and overall productivity.
- Create and implement sustainable cost savings projects.
- Manage multiple Operational Excellence projects simultaneously.
- Contribute to resource identification for improvement projects.
- Establish a PMO vision and mission, align the PMO with organizational culture, and identify stakeholders, customers, and methodology.
- Coach and develop Operational Excellence team members and educate the site population on OPEX tools and processes.
YOUR BACKGROUND:
- Completed B.S. or B.A. in a technical discipline and M.S./M.A./Ph.D. in progress or completed.
- Possess a range of professional experience in leading and collaborating with teams, making decisions, analyzing data, and communication.
- Six Sigma Green Belt or Lean Six Sigma certified or equivalent knowledge and practitioner experience.
PREFFERED SKILLS/COMPETENCIES:
- A solid command of MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook, Visio, and SharePoint and other most common applications for analysis/problem resolution.
- Ability to mentor or coach others, collaborate and communicate effectively, make confident decisions, and solve problems.
