Product manager II

Job duties


The incumbent is responsible for developing marketing strategies of II portfolio including Lipiodol, MD like Vectorio/Microcatheter, Patent-Blue V and Accurate range of product may include in the future other brands or businesses, and to enhance the II brands’ equities, values, and visibilities in China by combing the II global/APAC  strategy at the Chinese level & by maximizing the local tactics. 


  • Develop marketing strategy combining with global/APAC marketing manager and promotional programs to generate demand and sales of II portfolio.
  • Analyze market potential and sales data to identify opportunities. Implement key marketing strategy/ programs to enhance branding and create demand of II portfolio.
  • Provide marketing support to all strategic partners on II Business and their level 2 and 3 if any.
  • Plan effective downstream marketing actions in conjunction with Guerbet APAC II Marketing Manager, and effectively rollout these actions on the field, including digital ones.
  • Plan and implement all pre-launch and launch activities of new products.
  • Promotional tools design (i.e.: Brochures, leaflets, banners, jacket folders, etc…)
  • Conduct training and demonstration of II portfolio to distributors, partners and end users at hospitals
  • KOL pool development and maintenance in China market as well as Key Account management;
  • Work with the Medical team of Guerbet and to ensure medico-marketing training and activities of key internal & external stakeholders in China
  • Liaise with Guerbet China functions, and Global/ APAC Marketing in HK for support and share practices

Required Skills & Background



  • Education: degree holders in medicine, pharma or related major
  • Experience:  5-10 years working experience in product management in interventional radiology, preferably with 1-2 years in interventional business e.g. peripheral interventional products like microcatheter.
  • Experience in both marketing and sales in China interventional/pharma market, prior experience with interventional radiology and microcatheter.
  • High-level numerical reasoning & analytical skills
  • Business Development Excellence with expertise in Account Targeting and Customers Segmentation
  • Good presentation & negotiation skills,good interpersonal communication skills
  • Good English skill in speaking and writing
