APAC Salesforce Business Analyst and Power BI Lead

Job duties

 

This role will support 50% of the time the SalesForce tool and 50% the BI solutions for APAC.

SalesForce tasks: 

 

Maintenance

  • Maintain Salesforce scopes such as users, groups, accounts, contact, record types to support vital business functions
  • Proactively seek out & identify needed process improvements, gather feedback & requirements from users
  • Communicate global core model system changes to APAC users in advance so they understand the change & how to use it prior to implementation without interruption to the user
  • Create & maintain, reports, dashboards, campaigns & other Salesforce objects/functions
  • Request Salesforce hierarchy & territories in response to personnel changes in the APAC region to the Global salesforce system administrators
  • Auditing System Usage & Data Quality in the APAC region
  • Monitor, improve & audit of data quality & training for users to increase quality leading to 100% of all required data included in Accounts created since go-live
  • Expand use of Salesforce - attend planning meetings, assist with determining if/how Salesforce can be used in new ways as opposed to purchasing a new internal system
  • Monitor usage & mentor users/groups needing assistance & assist with migration from older systems/processes into Salesforce
  • Monitor neglected Leads, Opportunities, Accounts & Contacts as appropriate
  • Ensure data integrity by merging duplicate Leads, Contacts & Accounts; updates of data as required; removing unnecessary data; ensuring fields have accurate translations names

 

Process & Reporting

  • Create reports, dashboards for each geography within service lines based on necessary analytics
  • Develop, launch & manage in-depth dashboards & reports for all team functions on both management & individual levels
  • Manage all processes that impact/relate to Salesforce in coordination with salesforce system owner
  • Create new reporting capabilities & respond to ad hoc requests as needed
  • Provide sales & financial data to company executives
  • Design of a standard Sales Process to be used by all team members in each service line & division based on preference & requirements
  • Assist sales management to reports and dashboards in Salesforce to help monitor activities, trends, sales, leads & conversion rate
  • Develop process documentation & field maps - Create new processes & associated reporting
  • Process creation, documentation & maintenance - Document company processes & workflows in alignment with the salesforce global system administrators

 

Training & Support

  • Provide support to Salesforce users in APAC & act as the primary point of contact for end-user support
  • User assistance, training, adoption & satisfaction. Create & administer training for existing/new users/groups
  • Provide 1-2-1 training to end-users on an on-going basis
  • Communicate regularly with user base regarding new features, enhancements & system improvements
  • Continually seek ways to enhance the end-user experience further
  • Be the company SME on Salesforce.com for the APAC region

 

 Microsoft Power BI Tasks:

  • Create reports and dashboards to share insights & trends with company executives and the sales and marketing team in APAC

Required Skills & Background

 

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent education/experience
  • 3 - 6 years of Salesforce or any other CRM administration experience
  • Strong reporting background using standard reporting tools including standard Salesforce reporting functionality
  • Knowledge of general concepts of Customer Relationship Management (CRM)
  • Good knowledge of the standard capabilities of SFDC
  • Detail-oriented & self-starter with strong written & interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team
  • Team player with a positive"Can Do" attitude
  • Eager for change & ability to challenge the status quo
  • Great communication skills with an enthusiastic personality
  • Computer literate & proficient in standard office applications Word, Excel & Outlook Power BI is a plus
  • Strong problem-solving skills, data & software application.  Knowledge of SAP & Navision ERP would be a plus
  • Fluent in English
