Are you ready to take your finance career to the next level? Guerbet, a global leader in medical imaging, is seeking a General Accounting Senior Analyst to join our team. This role is not just about numbers; it's about driving operational excellence and process improvement.
As a General Accounting Senior Analyst, you will play a pivotal role, dedicating 80% of your time to operations and 20% to process improvement projects. Your mission is to continuously enhance the Record to Report (R2R) function at Guerbet's Shared Service Center. Here's what you'll be responsible for:

YOUR ROLE

Partners effectively with stakeholders to achieve common goals

Actively contributes with daily activities, pre-close and month end closing processes. Acts as reviewer of Journal entries and account reconciliations in daily and close processes of other analysts

Meets deadlines and demonstrates high quality when processing core activities such as taxes, period-end adjustments, financial reporting and treasury (cash and investments).

Prepares and reviews daily and ad-hoc reporting within agreed SLAs.

Designs, develops and approves process documentation based on knowledge transfer and gained experience

Participates and may lead local and regional processes improvement initiatives.

Complies and ensures the operation is aligned with company’s policies and procedures.

Performs general accounting activities, including the preparation, maintenance and reconciliation of ledger accounts and financial statements such as balance sheets, profit-and-loss statements and capital expenditure schedules.

Prepares, records, analyzes and reports accounting transactions and ensures the integrity of accounting records for completeness, accuracy and compliance with accepted accounting policies and principles.

Analyzes and prepares statutory accounts, financial statements and reports.
YOUR BACKGROUND
-
Excellent understanding of R2R processes, their associated risks and mitigating internal controls.
-
Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles, such as IFRS and internal control principles, both in theory and in practice, combined with self-driven and analytical approach.

Expertise in all Microsoft Office packages (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook).

Experience in ERP systems (SAP and JDE) as well as GL modules.
