The Team Leader LATAM will dedicate 60% of the time to operations, 15% to Team Management, 15% to process improvement projects, and 10% within the area.

This position is a direct report to the SSC Head and Site Director. The role works closely with the Guerbet Financial and Commercial organization across Latam and/or North America, and the Paris based Finance team, HR, IT and Customer Service teams.

 

YOUR ROLE

 

  • Leads and manages 2 reports and process teams through planning, talent management and retention.

  • Responsible for R2R process and financial accounting activities which include Financial Reporting in LATAM, general ledger maintenance, financial close, full balance sheet review, tax accounting and filing, treasury, fixed assets, etc.

  • Delivers a high standard of customer service in compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs), agreed performance indicators, Group internal controls and Group Policies.

  • Maintains SSC´s reputation, excellent relationships with internal clients and Group stakeholders, and sources formal feedbacks.

  • With a lean mindset, identifies areas to maximize effectiveness and efficiency in the Process. Participates in improvement projects without deteriorating the quality of client delivery.

  • Demonstrates cost responsibility, ensuring the teams have the tools, training, and resources to optimize performance in compliance with budget and objectives.

  • Responsible for the overall performance of the team, monitoring their performance, providing timely feedback & assisting them to improve on their identified training needs.

  • Identifies clear objectives for the team, provides coaching, career development and feedback to team

  • Provides current up-to-date information that helps staff to solve and/or anticipate problems.

  • Coaches employees during the problem-solving process.

 

YOUR BACKGROUND

  • Excellent understanding of R2R processes trough the LATAM region, their associated risks and mitigating internal controls.

  • Excellent understanding of Operations, Quality management and SLA frameworks.

  • Understanding of budgetary and resource requirements.

  • Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles, such as IFRS and internal control principles, both in theory and in practice, combined with self-driven and analytical approach.

  • Expertise in all Microsoft Office packages (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook).

  • Experience in ERP systems (SAP and JDE) as well as GL modules.

  • Travel is expected to be 10- 15%.
