A vacancy now exists for a Full Time- Permanent Process Technician. This role is responsible for monitoring, controlling and carrying out all operations related to the processing of MP-104 into Ioversol, as directed by the Process Supervisor.
Principle accountabilities include but are not limited to

Carry out all duties associated with the Processing of Ioversol batches as directed.

These tasks will be completed according to SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) and batch records.

Perform initial troubleshooting of any issues and assist Process Supervisor with investigations and operations deviations.

Write and review manufacturing documentation as necessary, in line with GDP

Carry out area cleaning/housekeeping duties as per area /equipment housekeeping schedules.

Must participate in plant emergency response team.

Take routine batch samples for analysis by QC.

Carry out all other duties as directed by relevant Process Supervisor

Maintain work area in a neat, safe and clean manner.

Participate in all site training programmes.

Fully comply with all site quality and safety policies.

Ensure that roles and responsibilities are complied with as per the requirements of the site’s safety statement.
Applicants must have the following:
- Good leaving Certificate. Recognised qualification in Chemistry/Chemical/Mechanical Engineering desirable but not essential
- 2-3 years previous industrial experience in a Manufacturing Environment, ideally in a Chemical/Pharmaceutical Processing / cGMP Environment.
- Must be available to work a rolling shift pattern (Days and Nights)
- Keen eye and attention to detail
- Should have ability to work both independently and as part of a Team.
- Ability to coordinate with fellow workers.
- Must be a highly motivated Self Starter with an ability to use own initiative
- Good Problem solving and analytical thinking skills
- Physical fitness as role requires a degree of manual labour.
- Ability to identify varying degrees of urgency and priority relating to problem solving
Training
Full training on all the responsibilities of this role will be provided.
