APAC Product Manager - Diagnostic Imaging

Job duties


The main goals & objectives of the Asia-Pacific Product Manager - DI is to enhance the DI brands’ equities by implementing the DI BU global strategy at the Asia-Pacific level & by maximizing the local tactics, and therefore generate visibility, value, sales & profits to Guerbet DI BU. 


Guerbet DI brands are a comprehensive offer to imaging professionals, providing a portfolio of interconnected to enhance the customers decision-making at each point of the patient journey, in contrast media, and injection solutions. 


  • Be in line with portfolio strategy, establish objectives for marketing activity, and lead execution, achieving on-time implementation of key tactics.
  • Analyze the business and competitive environment, using data and sound judgment to make recommendations for ways to better meet short and long-term business goals, as well as identify insights that can lead to new business building ideas.
  • Increase brand values and equities by deploying strategic programs, professional campaigns through CRM.
  • Build and implement the strategy for new product launches, collaborating with commercialization, product, region, and affiliates team to ensure well-coordinated execution.
  • Diligently monitor healthcare trends across the region, report impact of changes and implications for the organization for new and existing Technologies.
  • Meet marketing objectives by forecasting requirements, preparing an annual budget, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, initiating corrective actions.
  • Monitor the impact of marketing actions via the CRM and adapt local strategy accordingly
  • Communicate the value proposition of the products to the commercial team in the region and develop the sales tools that support the selling process of DI products including conducting demos, creating content, assets, and tools
  • Execute content marketing in order to enhance digital marketing campaigns.
  • Frame Guerbet DI brands footprint at major communication events (webinar, congresses, workshops, symposia & local customers centric events) in all Asia Pacific.
  • KOL management (design & conduct KOL management program) 
  • Closely collaborate with the Application specialist team of Guerbet in tandem to ensure medico-marketing training of key internal & external stakeholders in the Asia-Pacific region.
  • Maintain & develop the knowledge of DI brands with internal & external key stakeholders such as distributors, GPO, governmental agencies, Public Affairs managers

Required Skills & Background


Educations & Experiences 

  • 3+ years sales/marketing experience in the pharmaceutical industry and / or the medical devices industry with 1+ years experience in product marketing management
  • Pharmaceutical and / or Medical device experience a plus 


Skills & Qualifications

  • Possess knowledge of Asia Pacific Healthcare systems and understand the regulatory requirement of pharmaceutical and medical device industry in the Asia Pacific
  • Possess knowledge in the medical imaging industry especially contrast medical and power injector market dynamics
  • Strong analytical skills in commercial, financial acumen, and budget management to enhance business decision making 
  • Willingness to proactively identify issues and opportunities in the business and make the appropriate recommendations, and/or take the appropriate action, to get things done
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently in a fast-paced, competitive, and performance-driven environment
  • Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate across functions
  • Enjoy frequent traveling within the Asia Pacific
  • Fluent in English and Putonghua language
  • Familiar with digital marketing
  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
