Field Service Engineer

Description

•    Provide direct support to the customers regarding the maintenance of Guerbet’s medical equipment and digital solutions.
•    Train customers on how to properly and safely operate the medical devices and digital solutions.
•    Actively work in the spare parts flow process to ensure the return of the material delivered to the field and under your responsibility (delivery, responsible usage and correct identification).
•    Fill in consistent and reliable technical service data in the maintenance management system (technical notes, spare parts usage, calibration info, checklists, labor timing, maintenance status, customer’s signature and NPS).
•    Perform the nationalization process of the brand-new imported equipment.
•    Support the maintenance process of the equipment inside the Repair Shop.
•    Actively work to ensure the achievement of the defined service KPIs: First Time Fix, Field Service Technician Utilization, Equipment Downtime, Incidents Closed in One Day, Preventive Maintenance Compliance and Repeated Calls Rating.
•    Participate in the team’s meetings and brainstorming to suggest new ideas and support in the continuous improvement process.
•    Provide technical support to the 3rd parties and sales team.
•    Perform the maintenance and work in accordance with the defined EHS (Environment Health and Safety) standards.
•    Follow the defined operational procedures described in Guerbet’s quality system.

Education


•    Degree in biomedical engineering or related.
•    Great interpersonal and customer service skills (listen attentively to customers’ needs, be cordial and handle properly adverse or under pressure situations).
•    Must enjoy and feel comfortable at teaching/training final customers.
•    Be collaborative with the customers and team mates to provide the best customer’s experience.
•    Must be resourceful and problem solver.
•    Driver license, in order to use company’s car to move to the customers.
