Womens Health Business Development Manager - Midwest 1

The Women’s Health Field Business Development Manager is a core member of the commercial sales team. The role of this individual involves developing and expanding sales in the Women’s Health Business Unit to key IVF clinics, Hospitals, Radiology Centers and OB/GYN facilities, assuring sales goals of the assigned territory are met and customer needs are satisfied.

Responsibilities

Main accountabilities:

 

●    Independently and collaboratively develops and grows the market space with a focus in the area of women’s health business.

●    Develop, plan, and execute a business plan to obtain the sales and business goals and objectives within the assigned territory.

●    Responsible for the development and achievement of sales results with these clients.

●    Creates Key Account Development Plans in order to realize sustainable growth.

●    Focusing on growing and generating new business.

●    Act as the key interface between the customer and all relevant divisions.

●    Compile weekly and monthly sales and activity reports and submit them to management in a timely fashion.


Knowledge

•    Previous experience in the pharmaceutical industry with a focus on women’s health, reproductive health and/or interventional radiology

•    Knowledge and experience of health care systems in the U.S., Europe, or other settings as appropriate for the position requirements

•    Knowledge of treatment guidelines, clinical research processes, FDA regulations and OIG guidelines a must

•    Advanced degree preferred with experience in an appropriate discipline (health administration, medicine, pharmacy, economics, etc.)

Required Skills & Background

•    2-3 years of proven sales success
•    Candidate should be able to work in startup environment and work independently
•    5 years industry experience, or up to 10 years of significant previous training and experience in creating business growth results in areas/ markets where there was no activity.
•    Looking for a Dynamic personality and someone who is innovative.
•    Requires a person who is entrepreneurial.
•    Excellent interpersonal communication and presentation skills are required
•    Ability to network and partner with important external customers.
•    Ability to build relationships internally and externally that promote learning, obtain results, and strengthen alliances.
•    Understanding of protocols within clinical settings.
•    Strong communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work successfully in a team/cross-functional environment.
•    The ability to think and act globally with a customer focus and a solution orientation.
•    Strong Project management skills.
•    Ability to manage a large geographic terrain. Requires 20-45% overnight travel.
