Injector, Urology and Digital Solutions Sales Specialist

General Overview of Responsibilities

•    The purpose of the Injector, Urology and Digital Solutions Sales Specialist is to meet or exceed financial goals for the respective region by promoting, demonstrating and selling Guerbet urology equipment, injector products and digital solutions, accessories, consumables & service products to hospitals and outpatient facilities within their region, while managing the installed base of equipment to ensure future sales opportunities.

•    Develop and maintain effective relationships with National Account Teams for contract negotiations.

•    Develop and maintain effective relationships with OEM regional sales forces.

•    Strategically plan and organize the region to maximize sales. Effectively engage all targeted accounts as well as develop and execute a clear and logical plan to achieve overall territory goals of selling both capital equipment, disposables, digital solutions and service.

•    Establishing and broadening sales call points of healthcare professionals including physicians, technologists and nurses along with the IT professionals like CIO, PACS Administrator, Imaging Informatics Analyst and with urology sales build rapport and make presentations to surgeons, nursing staff, hospital administrators and radiology directors.

•    Supporting the clinical and IT skills of the full line sales representatives.

•    75% overnight travel in assigned region or outside region as needed. Including,   but not limited to include travel to attend Regional and National Sales meetings.

•    Provide field service support as required within their territories. Involves use of hand tools and manual lifting of components weighing approximately 50 pounds each.

•    Where necessary, represent the company publicly in a commercial capacity at scientific symposia, tradeshows, or similar events.

•    Provide feedback on product performance, competition, products and marketing practices.

•    Remain in compliance with all vendor credentialing organizations that are required to enter and work in hospitals.

Required Skills & Background

•    Effective presentation, written and verbal communication skills
•    Ability to solve a broad range of problems of varying scope and complexity.
•    Must be independent, hands-on resource as well as good team player.
•    Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
•    Ability to work in a fast-paced, flexible, dynamic environment.
•    Competent with following computer programs:  Microsoft Office, including; Excel, Word, PowerPoint. Expense Travel Reporting: Concur SAP and CRM: Salesforce.com


•    Candidate will be highly self-motivated, detail and results oriented, manage own schedule and work independently and with the Regional Sales Manager.
•    Bachelor’s degree required
•    10 years’ experience in healthcare equipment sales
•    Familiarity with capital equipment, digital solutions, urology, surgical and radiological environments.
•    Extensive experience and understanding of the capital equipment sales process
•    Established customer management skills
•    Ability to manage capital forecast
•    Experienced in managing sales & expense budgets
•    Excellent communication and presentation skills
•    Ability to travel up to 75%.
•    Must be a licensed driver and able to drive a car.
•    Ability to assist less experienced sales representatives to further their development.
