Role Purpose: The IT Officer will work with the IS Administrator as part of the IS function and will be required to provide technical support to users of the business network via the ServiceNow and change control systems.  The IT Officer will support and maintain the network infrastructure in accordance with local and Corporate guidelines and regulatory requirements.
it will be a minimum 6 month contract.



•    Administer and maintain the ServiceNow system
•    Administer the change control log.
•    Provide technical support to network users.
•    Liaise with European and USA IS Groups, as necessary.
•    Liaising with Vendors and monitoring of contracts.
•    Costing and purchasing of network infrastructure hardware, software and services.
•    Assist in the enhancement and development of the network through involvement in local and Corporate initiatives and projects.
•    Support OS/Application patching
•    Provision of User Induction/application training.
•    Work with the IS Administrator to maintain the network infrastructure documentation including hardware inventory, licence/application inventory, User list and network diagram, as required.
•    Maintain, develop and update policies and procedures when required.
•    Provide KPI data of IS activities on a monthly basis. IT officer must work with IS Administrator in relation to network infrastructure operations with the prime focus for the IT Officer on supporting the network non server inventory.



Your Profile:
•    Experience supporting MS Operating Systems and applications.
•    Third level qualification preferable but not essential.
•    Strong computer skills essential.
•    Good Documentation skills.
•    Good interpersonal skills
•    Ability to provide IT support across all levels in the organisation.
