The Assistant Controller, under the direction of the Plant Controller, is responsible for the assisting the Plant Controller in directing and managing  the Finance and Internal Control systems and activities for the Cincinnati site.

YOUR ROLE

• Assists in the establishment of the annual operating budgets for the Manufacturing functions as well as the development of the Cincinnati site capital budget.
• Conducts monthly financial close, performs analysis and reports of site financial results for Manufacturing.
• Maintains accounting and financial process that are consistent with Guerbet and governmental regulatory requirements (GAAP, IFRS, etc).
• Develop and maintain standard product costs for all Cincinnati products.
• Perform monthly account reconciliations for the Cincinnati site.
• Review and maintain adequate system of internal financial controls for Cincinnati site.
• Manage process for the management of capital assets for the Cincinnati site.
• Provide Finance support and updates to Department Managers at the Cincinnati site.
• Coordinate and manage activities to support inventory management requirements (cycle counts, physical inventories, etc)
• Perform other duties and special assignments at this or other divisions of Guerbet, as needed.

YOUR BACKGROUND

• Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Business.
• Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience and at least 3 years experience in cost accounting.
• Effective leadership and management skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Prior experience in SAP preferred.
• Proficiency in the use of Excel, PowerPoint and Word software.
