Regional (LATAM) Technical Support & Training Specialist - Located in Cincinnati

Description

Reporting to the Manager, Technical Service – the Americas, this person is responsible for telephone and on-site support as well as the technical / user training of internal and external technical and clinical personnel for the proper operation and repair of the Guerbet medical devices.  Primary region of support is Latin America.  Provide resource support to internal departments to help drive global technical service objectives. 

 

  1. Provide technical assistance for customers that experience issues with equipment, needing general questions answered, parts identification, etc.
  2. Provide technical and clinical training to company FSEs, hospital biomeds, authorized distributors, and 3rd party service providers as required.
  3. Provide on-site assistance as needed for escalating service situations
  4. Work in collaboration with other departments e.g. D&E, Manufacturing, Quality, and Commercial for development of Technical Service procedures and/or identify service requirements for new product.
  5. Back up to other Technical Service functions as needed.
  6. Perform other duties as requested by Technical Service Management.
Required Skills & Background
  1. Minimum 5 years X-Ray service experience.
  2. Minimum of 5 years of technical support and troubleshooting of medical devices.
  3. Passion for teaching and previous training experience is a plus.
  4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, a team player.
  5. Fluent in English and Spanish. Portuguese proficiency a plus.
  6. Must be proficient in all MS Office applications, Word, Excel, PowerPoint. 
  7. Well organized, able to multi-task, able to work with multiple groups internally and externally, strong work ethic.
  8. Must be able to travel domestically and internationally, particularly to LATAM countries.
Education

University degree in Engineering or Technology.
